Undergraduate StudiesPlacement Test
The placement test determines which departmental courses in Greek, Latin or Modern Greek (101, 102, 103, 104, or 200 level courses) best suit the needs of individual students. As a result of the test, students will be placed in the appropriate level and may receive credit for those courses out of which they have tested. Students are encouraged to take these tests during the orientation session or the first day of classes. Tests in Greek and Latin language are administered by the Office of Testing, Room 820 Lincoln Tower, 1800 Cannon Drive (292-2241). Additional Information about these tests may be obtained from the Department of Greek and Latin (292-2744).
